Privacy Policy — BrandMaster Sim Connect
Last updated: 11-Sep-2026
This privacy policy describes how BrandMaster Sim Connect (“the App”) collects, uses, and shares information. The App is a business-to-business messaging relay tool: it is installed by our business clients on SIM cards they own, as part of a paid messaging-integration service.
Who this policy is for
This App is not intended for general consumer use. It is installed only by clients who have subscribed to our SMS relay service, on devices and SIM cards they own and control. If you are an end user who received a message that was relayed through this service, please contact the business that sent it to you directly — we do not have a relationship with, or hold data about, message recipients beyond what is described below.
Information the App collects
When installed and configured by a client, the App:
Reads incoming SMS messages received on the specific SIM card(s) the client has explicitly configured within the App (sender number, message content, and timestamp).
Reads basic SIM/device information (carrier name, phone number, and SIM slot) needed to identify which physical SIM a message arrived on.
Does not read, access, or forward messages from any SIM card other than the ones the client has explicitly provisioned within the App.
Does not collect location, contacts, browsing history, or any data unrelated to SMS relay.
How this information is used and shared
Each relayed message (sender, message content, timestamp, and the receiving SIM’s phone number) is sent, over an encrypted HTTPS connection, to the specific webhook endpoint the client configured within the App. This endpoint is controlled by the client, not by us.
We do not sell, rent, or share this information with any party other than the destination the client themselves configured.
Message content is not stored on our own servers — the App relays directly from the device to the client-configured endpoint.
Data stored on the device
The App stores its configuration (the destination webhook URL for each SIM) encrypted at rest on the device, using the device’s own hardware-backed keystore.
A local log of recently relayed messages (sender, timestamp, delivery status) is kept on-device to let the client verify the relay is working, and is not transmitted anywhere beyond the configured webhook.
This data is not included in Android device backups.
Data retention and deletion
Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored configuration and message log data from the device immediately.
Because relayed message content is sent directly to the client’s own configured endpoint, any request to delete that data after relay should be directed to the client operating that endpoint, not to us.
Permissions the App requests, and why
